Serology
Serology is the study of serum and other body fluids to diagnose and identify the antibodies in serum. Antibodies are usually formed because of infection against the foreign bodies. Serology is used to confirm the infections caused due to bacteria, fungi, viruses etc.
When should I see a serologist?
It is important to know about your immune system time to time and analyze the reason for sickness. With this test we can understand why we get sick and treatment required. The antigens can enter the body through mouth, skin, nasal passages etc leading to dull your immune system.
